8/17/22 – Wide Legged Deadlifts

Hello everyone! We’re bringing the heat this month and working on deadlifts! Deadlifts are a great way to build total body strength, with little to no equipment needed. You can use a dumbbell, stapler, water bottle, or whatever you have laying around the house and office.

Today we will work on wide legged deadlifts. The wide stance activates your inner thighs, and you will feel a deeper stretch in the back of your legs.

Start with your feet wider than shoulder width apart. Lower the weight down and keep your chest lifted and shoulder blades back. Let the weight drop slowly to the ground, then stand up tall. Repeat for 10 repetitions.
