Ear to Shoulder Stretch

Happy July! I hope you are all enjoying this sunshine. This month we are stretching out the muscles of your neck. I know after a long day of work, my upper neck muscles get stiff and sore. Regular stretching can increase range of motion and reduce pain.

Exercise: Ear to your shoulder stretch.

How to perform: Sit up tall and bring your left ear to your left shoulder. To deepen into the stretch, place your left hand on the side of your head and gently pull.

Duration: Hold for 10 seconds and switch to the other side.
