Welcome to your WOW! A WOW is a short workout such as a tabata, strength training, stretching or stress management exercises that you can do in just a few minutes in your office or over your lunch hour. WOWs are a great way for you to stay on top of your exercise or emotional wellness program. Every week a new WOW will be added to keep you on your toes and excited!! Neck Rotations
Ear to Shoulder Stretch
Happy July! I hope you are all enjoying this sunshine. This month we are stretching out the muscles of your neck. I know after a long day of work, my upper neck muscles get stiff and sore. Regular stretching can increase range of motion and reduce pain.
Exercise: Ear to your shoulder stretch.
How to perform: Sit up tall and bring your left ear to your left shoulder. To deepen into the stretch, place your left hand on the side of your head and gently pull.
Duration: Hold for 10 seconds and switch to the other side.
Neck Stretches – Up and Down

Exercise: Look up and look down.
How to perform: Sit up tall look up to the ceiling. Then look down to your chest and tuck your chin in.
Duration: Hold for 5-10 seconds when you look up/down.
Neck Stretches – Look Right and Left

Exercise: Look right and left.
How to perform: Sit up tall and look over your shoulder. Try to turn to look to the wall behind you to deepen the stretch in your neck.
Duration: Hold for 10 seconds and repeat on both sides.
