Work Out of the Week (WOW)
Welcome to your WOW! A WOW is a short workout such as a tabata, strength training, stretching or stress management exercises that you can do in just a few minutes in your office or over your lunch hour. WOWs are a great way for you to stay on top of your exercise or emotional wellness program. Every week a new WOW will be added to keep you on your toes and excited!! So check back often to maximize your wellness program.

May 7th is National Fitness Day! This month’s WOW’s is to celebrate this day through participating in fitness and switching up your exercise routine.
This week’s workout is to think about what you’re playing for your workout music. Sometimes we get into a rut with listening to the same songs and playlist. Just like how it is important to switch up your workout routine, it’s also important change your music so you can become motivated and inspired as you exercise. Music can help your workout move faster and give you that extra push to do your best.
Spotify, Amazon, and Apple Music are all providers who can offer a variety of music to listen and move to (there are free and premium subscriptions). In addition, YouTube also creates various playlists and videos. Try one of these services out and see if it changes your workout.

4/27/22-Spring Into Fitness – Bent Over Rows
Hello everyone! The weather is gorgeous, and the sun is shining bright! With Springtime upon us, it’s time to “Spring into Fitness!”
This week’s workout is to incorporate bent over rows in your day! You can use an object such as a water bottle, stapler, book, or anything around the office/home to add more resistance. While holding onto the object, push your hips back and fold in half. Then, pull the weight to your stomach and squeeze your shoulder blades together. Slowly release the weight back down and perform 10 repetitions.
