Take A Walk
Jumping Jacks
Happy New Year!! With 2023 in our horizon and 2022 past us, we are looking forward to improving your health and wellness so you can make this year a great one!
This month’s WOW’s will focus on performing simple yet effective cardiovascular exercises such as walking, stair climbing, and bodyweight exercises. Just know you don’t need fancy gym equipment or a membership to improve your fitness.
Today’s workout will be performing a jumping jack. Stand up tall and move your arms and feet apart, then bring your arms and feet back together. You can perform a jumping jack with a jump, or you can step your feet in. Perform for 20 to 30 seconds and repeat multiple times throughout the day. Remember that the cold weather can’t stop your fitness!

Take The Stairs
Happy New Year!! With 2023 in our horizon and 2022 past us, we are looking forward to improving your health and wellness so you can make this year a great one!
This month’s WOW’s will focus on performing simple yet effective cardiovascular exercises such as walking, stair climbing, and bodyweight exercises. Just know you don’t need fancy gym equipment or a membership to improve your fitness.
Today’s workout will be to take the stairs instead of the elevator. With the wet weather upon us, we might not be able to go outside for a walk. However, you can still elevate your heart rate, improve your fitness, and increase your lower leg strength through stair climbing. Stair climbing also requires 8-9 times more energy expenditure than sitting and burns more calories than jogging.
You can still obtain a great workout with small fitness breaks by taking the stairs!
