Work Out of the Week (WOW)
Welcome to your WOW! A WOW is a short workout such as a tabata, strength training, stretching or stress management exercises that you can do in just a few minutes in your office or over your lunch hour. WOWs are a great way for you to stay on top of your exercise or emotional wellness program. Every week a new WOW will be added to keep you on your toes and excited!! Deadlift
Straight Legged Deadlift
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Who’s ready for eggnog and Christmas carols?
Before we enjoy the holiday season, we’re going to make this December a sweaty one. You will be performing some exercises first and then you get to open your gifts! We’re going to get our body into shape by performing 12 reps before Christmas!
Today’s workout will be a straight legged deadlift. Start with your feet together and hold your weight (or stapler, water bottle, etc) and lower down to the ground. Engage your abdominals and keep your back straight. Then stand up tall and perform for 12 reps.

Upright Row With Weights

Today’s workout will be an upright row. Grab a weight (or stapler, water bottle, etc) and pull up to your chin. Perform for 12 repetitions.

Bodyweight Squats With Lateral Leg Lift
November is finally here! It’s that time of year where the leaves are changing color and we gear up for Thanksgiving, one of the biggest holidays for food and fun!
But before you get stuffed, we’re going to get sweaty and burn some calories. This month’s workout will focus on squats, which are great exercises to strengthen your lower body. These exercises will be the best (turkey) leg day ever!
Today we will add a variation to the squats by squatting down and raising your leg laterally. The lateral leg raise helps strengthen your hips and build balance in your legs
